Dear Hiring Manager,
I'm writing to apply for the Heavy Equipment Operator position at your company. I have eight years of experience operating excavators, bulldozers, and articulated haul trucks on highway and site-development projects, and I've maintained a zero-incident safety record across that entire span.
At Northern Plains Excavation, I moved an average of 1,200 cubic yards of material per day using GPS grade control on a 300-acre subdivision grading project, finishing the job 12 days ahead of schedule. I'm certified on excavators up to 50 tons, dozers, backhoes, and skid steers, and I perform daily pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance to keep downtime near zero.
I hold a current OSHA 10 card and NCCCO certification for mobile crane operation, and I'm comfortable working in confined urban sites as well as open rural terrain. I'd welcome the opportunity to bring that combination of skill and reliability to your crew — I'm available to start as soon as needed.
Sincerely,
Cody Bearclaw
