I'm writing to apply for the Adjunct Professor position in the Marketing Department at Lakeshore University. Teaching Principles of Marketing as an adjunct at Northbrook College for the past three years, I redesigned the course around a semester-long client project, and end-of-term evaluations rose from 3.6 to 4.7 out of 5.
I hold a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Illinois and have published two peer-reviewed articles on digital consumer behavior, which I bring directly into lecture through current case studies rather than textbook examples alone. I build my courses around clear rubrics and hold weekly virtual office hours so remote and commuter students get the same access as anyone on campus.
I'm fluent in Canvas and Blackboard and have taught both in-person and hybrid sections without a drop in engagement scores. Lakeshore's growing digital marketing concentration is a great match for my research focus, and I'm available to teach up to three sections per semester starting this fall, on a schedule that works for your department.
